Being on retreat allows us to be in yoga and enjoy practice away from the distractions of everyday life. It’s time to yourself to centre, re-energise and connect with your inner self through your yoga practice.

Tyraman is a beautiful retreat centre surrounded by gardens and water-lily ponds. A retreat gives us the opportunity to surrender completely to the yoga process in a supportive and peaceful natural environment. It allows more time for meditation, pranayama and restorative poses.

Accommodation is shared but spacious and linen and towels are provided. We will cook for each other in groups. It’s about a 3 hour drive to Tyraman and much easier to find in daylight, so try to arrive by 4pm. Bring your yoga gear. We’ll arrange a car pool, so let me know if you’re driving or need a lift.

Please pay $100 deposit by Thursday 8th April to confirm your place.
A minimum of 10 enrolments is required by Tyraman
for the retreat to go ahead.

4 DAY QUEENSLAND RETREAT

The temperature in this part of the world is perfect for yoga. The Haven yoga room overlooks the ocean and is buffeted by warm breezes, conducive to gentle opening and cultivating softness and receptivity. It’s about a 3 minute walk down to the beach, which you are likely to have all to yourself. Emu Park is a small coastal village. Accommodation is very comfortable and spacious, with single room options. There will be 2 classes a day with time in between for resting, reading and contemplation. We’ll cook for each other in groups to a pre-arranged menu.

Arrive Thursday night to start class early Friday morning and leave Tuesday by 10am. Return flights to Rockhampton from Sydney can be found for $250- $400.

The cost for accommodation, meals and tuition is $745.
